LEOS is a non profit 501 C3 organization, Our goal is to assist Latino individuals and organizations in the search for excellence through education.

The purpose of Latino Excellence of Sarasota is:

  To provide members access to education,  educational opportunities, and referrals to other services in the area. 

   To promote an interest for the Latino culture as it becomes a stronger component in our community.

   To partner with other organizations that provide resources and education to the Latino population. 

Our Mission:

To assist individuals and organizations that are Latinos or have Latino interests in their search of excellence through education.

Our Vision:

To move the Latino community forward as they become an integral comonent of the community.

Our Programs currently include:

Families Learning Together -Free English classes to both parents and children (levels K to 5th grade only)

Bilingual Newsletter - Monthly Newsletter in both languages including topics in Parenting, Nutrition & Fitness, Latino Culture and  Spanish Language and Literature

Hispanic  Heritage Celebration Downtown Sarasota - An array of authentic Latino food, dance, art and music takes place from 11 AM to midnight in October at Selby Five Points Park Downtown Sarasota.
